The best ticket agency I have ever dealt with.
I stumbled across Gigtix by accident never having dealt with them before. I picked up two tickets to a high demand concert. The ticket prices were almost half what the other agencies were charging for the same sort of seats. Having bought tickets I had issues with the concert through personal commitments which meant I had to contact Steve on a number of occasions. He went over and above what I could have ever expected. He emailed me late in the evening/ early in the morning and at the weekend to make sure he resolved my problems. He wrote to me ‘we never want unhappy customers’.
Whilst my issues were in no way the making of Gigtix – but my own for not checking my dates – Steve explored all options with me. When it became apparent that my wife and I wouldn’t be able to make the concert Steve immediately offered me a full refund (with only a few pounds deduction for credit card fees) with no hesitation.
This reaction was utterly unexpected through my experience of other ticket agencies and in fact the sort of customer service now sadly rare to find anywhere. Plainly the business plan here is to build a solid and loyal customer base rather than just making a profit where possible.
If only all agencies modelled themselves on Gigtix. Top marks.
